New York Fashion Week is upon us dolls and I couldn’t be more excited!!! That means that all of the bold violets, bright yellows, the “next day” makeup look are all about to take life!
Makeup director at MAC, Lyne Desnoyers, chose the 5 looks below as the top makeup trends for this fall.
At the Kenneth Cole show, she explains that the inspiration was derived from fresh, perfectly ripped fruit. The look is to be seductive and not gothic.
Metallic Shadows are back!!! As shown at the Donna Karen show. Also a new trend we’re seeing is the almost nude, same color as your skin lips with a slight hint of peach/pink color.
The Natural Flush presented by Prabal Gurung. When the models walked the runway all of New York went wild for the fresh look! And I am really happy about this trend because now we can add blush in a shade slightly darker than our natural skin tone to give us this look.
The “Hot and Cold” smokey eye by Altuzarra. She explains: ” The two-tone makes the nebulous halo look”. The trick of this is creating a color clash in between them.
The Flawless Face at Suno. This looks very familiar to Prabal Gurung’s look but not to be confused. The key here is to properly moisturize your face and add some shimmer, or highlighting makeup.
What do you guys think? Which are your favorites? I love all of these looks because they can actually worn on an every day and even to go out. My favorite is definitely Donna Karen’s look with the metallic eye shadows followed by the Natural Flush. I can’t wait to start sporting these looks, are you?
