As we continue with the recap of New York Fashion Week, I just wanted to let you all know that this whole week will be dedicated to that only, with double posts going up on the same day so make sure that you check them out. As we continue with encounter the talented Richard Chai.
One of the words that I can use to describe his line is feminine, chic, casual, and airy. Richard Chai had the models walk out in slender white seersucker gilet worn with a sheer pencil skirt with some trousers. And you know what? It all worked perfectly. I would have never worn anything like that, but seeing come down the runway was just inspiring. He was definitely using these geometric designs for optical tricks and he did it perfectly without causing a strain on your eyes of giving your a headache.
He also had his menswear line in leather…. for spring…. and he did a good job. The mustard colored leather jacket is to die for, just lovely! The double breasted, military style black on black suit is so sexy and so manly, I could definitely see Christian Grey wearing it. How did you guys like this line?
