The vanity in us has always wanted to have perfect, smooth, flawless faces… that’s why we use foundation: to give us a perfect complexion. But then there are those days in which we question if our foundation is going to look amazing, thus making the rest of our makeup that fabulous. Problem #1: You have dry skin and *gasp* your foundation makes it more noticeable. Foundation is supposed to make your complexion even toned, not totally hide all of your imperfections.
Solution: Nourish your skin! Taking proper care of your skin is the first step in achieving beautiful skin in the first place. Drink a lot of water and moisturize your skin on a daily basis. Best Foundation: A foundation that is rich in texture and packed with collagen and elastin. Try something like:
Remember, your foundation should be specifically tailored to your skin. If you notice that your foundation only makes your dry skin more noticeable or even dryer then you’re definitely using the wrong foundation. After you apply your foundation your skin should feel and look a lot more dewy and moisturized instead of blotchy in places and “caked”.
