Hello!!! It feels good to be back. Thank you all for being patient while I was out of commission for the past week. Hourglass is quickly becoming a household name, their makeup is really good and I have my favorites as well, and now they’ve released their Modernist Eyeshadow Palette and I know you’ll like them!

These palettes are artist-inspired and are different.  They don’t come in wells of individual color, instead, they have seamless transition into the next color offering easy blending.  Each palette contains 5 very richly pigmented shades that go from matte to shimmer. They’re also three-dimensional in design combined with a fine creamy consistency which makes it easier to pick up the pigment and blend.

Atmosphere is their Cool Neutrals palette with pale ivory, pale pink, taupe, espresso, and charcoal.

Color Field is their Olive palette with shades in Warm Ivory, Champagne Gold, Taupe Brown, Golden Olive, and Forrest Green.

Exposure is their Plum palette (isn’t it pretty?!) with champagne, aubergine, bronze, black violet, and lilac.

Grahite is their Smokey palette with warm ivory, copper gold, deep brown, gun metal, and silver. Plus, this is a Sephora exclusive!

Infinity palette, Warm Neutral, has warm ivory, dusty rose, bronzed mauve, cool taupe, and dark cocoa.

Monochrome is their Rose palette with also warm ivory, rose nude, peony pink, light mauve, and dark chocolate.

Obscura is their Earth Tones palette with cream, smokey brown, rose gold, coffee, and cool bronze.

The palettes offer complimentary base, crease, and eyeliner shades in which you can easily create beautiful eye makeup. And since they’re also very finely-milled, creamy formula, which is also a first of it’s kind, they’re really soft, long wearing, crease resistant, and the shimmer shades can also be applied wet for a super dramatic look.

Each palette will cost you $58.00 and they’re available now at Sephora and also on their site here.

What do you guys think? I love that they’re not in individual wells and that they can all be blended so easily! I’ll definitely be picking up one of these soon, but probably for my own personal use hehe 😉
