I hope your Tuesday was productive because mine was, and it was long as well, I thought the day wasn’t going to end! We all know that MAC has been having pretty awesome collaborations with some pretty awesome designers, and one of their most current collaborations is pretty freaking awesome!

MAC x Bao Bao Wan

Who is Bao Bao Wan? She is Chinese’s premiere society figure and famed jewelry designer who’s father is a government minister and launched her luxury jewelry brand in 2007. She was also the only Chinese girl invited to the Crillon Ball, which is a party for debutantes.

Being that she’s a jewelry this line really doesn’t surprise me at all with it’s super intense pigments and richness, so lets get right into it.

Bao Bao’s Jewels Eyeshadow Palette
This palette is a mixture of warmer-toned neutrals with a splash of a shimmered blue-gray.  The combination is actually very unexpected and quite beautiful together. The formula is Veluxe Pearlfusion, which can be used wet/dry, with dry giving you more of a sheer coverage with a soft sparkling finish and when applied damp the results are super saturated color with metallic brilliance. This palette will cost you $44.00.

Jewel #1
This is a pale pink shimmer but it is more of a champagne beige with with pink sparkle glitter. It looks beautiful on it’s own and even more stunning when paired with the rest of the shadows.

Jewel #2
This is a gold shimmer but with a coppery gold and warm brown undertones with a metallic finish.

Jewels #3
This is a dark rose bronze and it is actually a copper bronze brown with also warm undertones but with a frosted metallic finish.

Jewel #4
This is a dark brown with silver pearl but is more of a taupe brown with warm yellow undertones with silver sparkle and small shimmers.

Jewel #5
This is a steel grey shimmer and it’s a cool-toned, medium dark blue gray with a frosted metallic sheen.

Summer Opal Beauty Powder
This is a light bronzer with a gold shimmer. It’s a satin muted pink powder with dull gold shimmers. The texture is really fine and it’s the perfect highlight that compliments any skin tone. I really love this! This powder will cost you $28.00.

Burmese Kiss – Is a bright coral pink with a matte finish that is super pigmented

Forbidden Sunrise is a super creamy orange matte

Lavender Jade – is a dirty mauve with gold pearl matte

Romantic Breakdown – is a sheer nude luster
Each lipstick will cost you $17.50.

Nail LacquersImperial Green is a spring green with multi-dimensional pearl.
Kasmir Blue – is a royal blue with gold pearl.

What do you guys think of the collection? I personally LOVE it!!! The jewel palette and the iridescent pressed powder are my favorite. I can’t wait to try them on and do a full review on them. Plus seriously, that highlighter? Totally stunning! I can’t wait to show you guys how it looks!
