Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I have to say, this weekend was too short and my allergies had all the fun! Last week or so, I mentioned to you the new fluid foundations that are a big trend at the moment, today, I’m going to introduce you to another foundation that might just do the same thing and become a big trend as well.

What does Lisa Eldridge and Korean Beauty have in kind? That Lisa become Lancòme’s global creative director and Korean beauty was the first to do a very popular BB cream filled cushion compact and Lisa conceptualized this and it was how the Miracle Cushion was born.

So what is it?  it’s a liquid foundation in a portable compact that is stored in a spongy cushion in the compact within a sealed compartment upon which a dense sponge makeup puff rests for application.  This foundation has the lightness and dewy finish of a BB cream or tinted moisturizer with coverage of your typical foundation.

The beauty and awesomeness of this compact is that it does not separate like normal foundations would and you can keep it with your other makeup in your makeup bag without having to worry about it spilling or making a mess.  As you can see, it is packaged with it’s own makeup sponge applicator, which you can use, or you can also apply it with your fingers and even a brush or with the Beauty Blender (if you carry it with you like that).  This foundation is being hailed as Lancòme’s best and with 11 shades ranging from warm to cool variations it can match any skin tone.

This will cost you $46.50 and you can pick it up at any high end department store and at Lancòme online.

What do you guys think about this new foundation? I think it looks pretty cool but I keep thinking of germs, I don’t know why. Have any of you tried this already? What has your experience been with it?
