Wow… the first week of the year is pretty much almost over. How are we feeling about it? Do you think time is starting to move a little too fast for you? I think, for right now at least, it is moving at the right time, but I am looking for Spring already, so I can see what YSL is really giving us with their Boho Stones collection!Boho Stone Collection. The Yves Saint Laurent woman par excellence. Her intuitive sensuality and assertive femininity; an inspiration to the admirers that follow in her wake – entranced.
Wow… let me say that the sex appeal for this collection is definitely there!
Lets start with the palettes!

YSL Fusion Ink Blush
Have you heard of ink blush? This is definitely a new concept that is really far away from anything a cream and powder blush can give you. This is a highly pigmented blush that contains moisturizing properties and up to 12 hours of wearability. The four shades are: Electric Red which is a red orange; Pink Attraction which is pink; Spicy Vibes which is orange; and Edgy Berry which is a purple pink. Each one will cost you $36.00.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres Glossy Stain

YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils – Limited Edition
YSL La Laque Couture de Opalescents – Limited Edition
This year will be all about color, and YSL is joining in on the trend of having unconventional mascara colors. These two limited edition mascaras come in Bohemian Pink which is a bright pink and Hippie Green which is a jade green and they will each cost you $36.00.
You can’t have a collection without some nail lacquer, and YSL is providing us with two limited edition nail polish lacquers with pearlescent finish: #69 Love Pink is an opalescent pink and #70 Peace Green is a light green. Each will cost you $27.00.
What do you guys think of the collection? Honestly, the only thing I’m excited about is the nail polishes and the mascaras. I know, I know… but that’s really the only thing that gravitated to me. I have tried before color correcting powders (like the first palette above) and I didn’t really see any kind of difference, so that to me is not something ground breaking or something that I would want to spend my money on. The rest of the collection is very in tune with what YSL is.
