Hump Day! I really do love short work weeks, don’t you? I mean, it’s Wednesday already, pre-pre weekend! Have you ever wished you could just literally wipe your makeup away fully without having to follow it up with washing your face afterwards to really get all they makeup off? Have you heard of Face Halo Makeup Remover?
What is Face Halo? Face Halo was created by Bec & Lizzy who felt there wasn’t a makeup remover out there that would tackle all of one’s makeup without having to follow additional steps or wash your face afterwards. So how does it work? You add cold or warm water. The water helps loosen the makeup allowing the HaloTech fiber strands (which are 100 times finer than a human hair) reach deep into your pores to remove and trap makeup, giving your skin a healthy and invigorating clean in half the time.
Simply wet your Face Halo and gently wipe off your makeup. Are you wearing heavy makeup? Just re-hydrate your Face Halo and hold it in place on your eyes and eyelashes for 5-6 seconds and then remove.
They’ve come up with something called The Halo Effect and it’s pretty impressive which shows how it works, check it out
So how do you take care of it?
You get 3 Face Halos and you can throw it in the wash with your whites or light color wash. The only thing they do say is not to add fabric softener to it when washing because it will leave a coating on the HaloTech fibers which will reduce the effectiveness. Not only that, I’m sure you don’t want fabric softener on your face!
Each set will cost you $22.00 and you can get yours at Face Halo online.
What do you guys think of this? Do you think it is too good to be true? I searched online to see if there are any videos of every day women using this and unfortunately I did not find one. That doesn’t mean that Refinery29 didn’t put it to the test, which they claim they have, among other sites that claim that they have used it, but I would like to see it in action. Maybe I’ll order it… who knows, I’m on the fence about this. What do you guys think?
P.s. We are moving to our new place this week, yay!, so I’ll be a bit MIA on here until I’m fully settled in, see ya in a few days!
