Hello! It’s Friday! I hope you all have some great and fun plans with all your loved ones! If you’re an Instagram addict, you of course most likely already know about Huda’s new eyeshadow Desert Dusk palette, if not, here, let me show you this gorgeous palette!
Illustrating the mystery of the desert, the palette captures the vivid shades and striking landscape that surrounds Huda in Dubai. From the opulent sky at sunset, shifting shades and shadows on the sand, the fascinating Middle East has been encapsulated in this dynamic palette.“I knew it would be hard to follow the success of our Rose Gold Palette, so I had to replace it with something phenomenal. Taking on feedback and appreciation from our previous palette, we perfected the formulas to ensure the creamiest textures for the best application and wear. We combined so many versatile shades and used highly-pigmented shadows that can be layered to create a vast array of looks. We also added a mirror for makeup lovers on the go, as this is something our community had been asking for.”The shades are: Desert Sand, Musk, Eden, Amber, Blood Moon, Oud, Celestial, Nefertiti, Twilight, Amethyst, Royal, Retrograde, Cashmere, Angelic, Cosmo, Turkish Delight, Saffron, Blazing
There are 8 matte shades that are super pigmented and buttery-smooth that range from nude shades to vibrant purples and orchids; 6 pressed pearls which create a high shimmer effect to add depth and intensity to your look. These can be used by themselves but the formulas are so rich that they can be layered on top of the mattes; 3 duo-chrome toppers that perfectly capture the ever-changing illusions of the desert and they each transform in light! and One pure glitter which was a must for this palette because it adds impact to your look! We combined magenta, bronze, and golden tones to create a luxurious glitter texture that looks insane all over the lid or as a liner.
The palette will be available on September 18th at Sephora and at Huda Beauty online and it will cost you $65.00.
What do you guys think? I really like it!!! I have stopped myself countless times from buying her first original palette because I’ve read way too many bad reviews and even when I swatched it and played with it for a while, I was satisfied with how the product worked. I am just hoping that the formulas for this palette are a lot better! What do you think? Did you get one of her palettes? How did you like it?
